I have owned this MK1 Cortina GT for 12 years after it was bought over from California in 2009 where it had spent all its life before having 2 owners in this country.
Due to the dry climate the underside is still in exceptional condition and to this day dose not require any rust repair as I have never been out in the rain.
The body work is in lovely condition as any rust that has appeared has been cut out and repaired to the highest standard.
App 600 miles ago I had an engine built by Throbnozzle Racing which included Flat top race pistons, Fast road high lift cam, Big valve ported cylinder head, Twin Webber 45 DCOE carbs, Bespoke air filter system and big bore exhaust. Also has had new clutch.
This is still a very drivable and enjoyable car to drive on the road.
The interior is in very good condition for its age having been fitted with new head lining.
I fitted new group 5 wheels which were used in the day by Jim Clarke when he was racing Cortina's so they are wright for the car.
The car has been lowered by app 1".
I managed to contact the owner in California and it was owned for many years by his farther who passed away when he took it over.

The millage is 31, 205 although I cant guarantee this.
No expense has been spared over the years to keep it in top condition.
You have to see the car to appreciate it as I think you would be unlikely to find a better example for this price.
