Descrição
This Ferrari 360 Modena began life in 2003 as a Challenge version, with a factory configuration suitable for track use. But it was soon modified to become a 360 Modena N-GT, based on the version developed in 2002 by Michelotto in collaboration with Ferrari, with the aim of entering the GT category of the Automobile Club de l'Ouest and the N-GT category of FIA events. The car was prepared by Mario Crugnola of the Mastercar team, whose engine work was carried out by MCS Engineering in Maranello and whose chassis work was carried out by Ermolli Organizzazione Corse in Varese. In this configuration and for Mastercar, it has taken part in several GT events (Group N or Group A) on the world's finest circuits. For example: in 2002 at the 6 Hours of Vallelunga (8th), in 2003 at Spa (23rd) and in 2004 at Monza (13th). She took part in the 24 Hours of Daytona three times: in 2004, when she finished 36th, in 2006 (58th) and in 2007 with Andrea Montermini (68th). For this American race, it donned the spectacular Brums livery, and has also contested a number of GT/ Open races in China. In its last configuration, corresponding to the Asian GT/ Open, the engine's intake flanges were removed at the time and its capacity increased to 3, 750 cm3. The technical passports of the Commissione Sportiva Automobilistica Italiana and the Real Federacion Espanola de Automovilismo, in the car's file, mention most of the competitions in which it took part.
