Hi and welcome to the listing for my 1986 2nd generation Honda Prelude.
Low mileage for its age at 72k.
Starts, runs and was driving well but now has an issue where it will cut out unless you keep your foot on the accelerator. May need the carbs cleaning or idle turning up as it has held an idle if you wait until it has fully warmed up. It completed a 230-mile journey at the end of last year.
The body/ paintwork is presentable overall but is showing its age in places - the rear arches show some corrosion which could do with tidying. There are some scrapes and age-related marks/ surface rust in places, please see all photos as this forms part of the description.
The interior is in very nice original condition with grey trim and velour upholstery. Pop up lights no longer want to retract however the lights work, as well as the sunroof and electric windows.
These are now becoming very rare cars - the website howmanyleft show there are only a handful of examples on the road.
Comes with owners manual, old V5C's & MOT's.
MOT expired December 2023.
Selling as a project/ spares repairs and would recommend trailering due to MOT lapsing and above running issue. Battery now gone flat but will start with a booster pack.
