We are delighted to be able for sale a highly desirable AJS 7R race bike dating back to 1949. This would be a great addition for the collector or classic racer alike. This particular example underwent a full restoration between 1991 and 1995 and was displayed at VMCC and other events until 2000. Between 2000 and 21012 it formed part of the display at M & C Motorcycle Collection in Bakewell Derbyshire where it was carefully stored and diligently maintained. The last owner prior to our acquisition purchased this motorcycle in 2012 and it remained used whilst he owned it. We have done some basic recommissioning work and can confirm having undertaken a brief test ride that this example starts runs and rides exceptionally well whilst retaining a great degree of originality.
