1979 MGB Roadster ERW 132T in Vermillion (not orange or red!!).
4 speed manual with working overdrive. Agreed insurance valuation £10, 000.
I have owned this MGB since 2013. When I purchased this car I spent a long time looking and this was the best example that I could find and in my opinion you would still be hard pushed to find a better example at this price. When I purchased her she had already undergone an extensive full nut and bolt restoration during 2000 - 2005. This MGB is solid with no rot and the body work is rust free as I hope the pictures show.
The engine has excellent oil pressure, approximately 50psi at idle and 73psi at around 3000rpm and runs with no nasty noises or smoke. Since I purchased her and during my ownership she has benefited from the following, plus lots more that can be seen from an extensive history file.
New hood.
New mohair half tonneau cover (supplied by Don Trimmings). Full vinyl tonneau also included.
New full leather seats and head rests.
New carpet set including spare wheel cover.
Fully refurbished Rostyle wheels (MG Owners Club).
New electronic ignition including plugs, leads, distributor cap and coil etc.
New Mota lita leather steering wheel.

Full rolling road tune up in 2021 by BD Engineering (Newington Kent).
This MGB is nearly 45 years old so is tax and mot exempt.
During my ownership I have maintained her regardless of cost and she has passed every MOT without any advisories. The car is always garaged with a quality car cover and never goes out in the wet.
