Description
1965 Ducati 250 Daytona narrow case single with a UK V5 logbook in my name, on the correct aged Plate. Tax and MOT exempt. Mileage 7926km. I imported this myself back in 2018.
I have restored quite a few Ducati singles back to factory spec. but this is one I wanted to ‘café race’ and add some gold and shiny bits to it. see what you think.
Just finished restoring this. It starts well, Run’s great with good throttle response, both brakes are very good, clutch and gears work as they should.
Complete nut and bolt restore. NB: THERE IS ZERO RUST ANYWHERE ON THIS BIKE

Fibreglass Vic Camp fuel tank and seat and cowl painted in Ducati Rosso Red
New matching twin fuel taps and green fuel pipe
NB: I have lined the fibreglass tank with Bill Hirsh tank liner, it’s the best and only trusted one for fibreglass, and it resistant to ethanol and modern petrol.

All bolts on this engine are brass coloured Stainless steel, (NOT cheap), and stainless steel engine brackets.

Engine was soda blasted, then stripped. Main engine casings are highly mirror polished, whilst the finned barrel and head and covers are vapour blasted.

EVERY nut and bolt has either been bright zinc plated, or is new stainless. Many bolts around the bike are the same brass coloured stainless to keep the same theme of the engine. Even things you can’t see, like inside the engine or in the wheel hubs.
What can I say? I’ve been very transparent; I’ve Pitched it at the right price. If you want to buy a similar looking 250 , check if it’s had the work and attention that this one has had, and look very closely at their photos, as some are not as restored as stated.
THIS BIKE IS AS NEW. Don’t settle for anything less than completely restored to this standard….. I don’t.
I will answer any questions, so don’t hesitate to contact me.
