Selling my lightly modified, low owner Toyota JZX. I’ve owned this car for a little over twelve months, purchased sight unseen, but it’s been utterly fantastic. It’s just flown through it’s MOT, with no advisories, meaning it has a full year of MOT remaining. The plan was to keep this one for a long time, and it’s been looked after accordingly, but the opportunity to purchase one of my dream cars has come up, and this has to go to make space. Everything on the car is genuine, no reps or copies. It’s a factory turbo manual car, which means no bodged conversions, the R154 gearbox, LSD and all the other manual niceties were fitted by Toyota.
It had one owner in Japan (I have photos of the car on their driveway if you’re interested), was imported in 2019, and I’m the second owner in the UK. It’s never been driven in winter, when the roads are salted, and has performed absolutely flawlessly over the 10, 000 kilometers I’ve driven it, both on motorways and B roads. It’s done 165, 000 kms total (100k miles).
Everything on the car works and looks as it should, the only minor issues are that the button to turn off the blower motor doesn’t always work, there’s a crack in one of the side skirts and there’s the usual minor marks, swirls and crazes in the paint you’d expect from a 20yo car.
