Description
1979 Triumph Spitfire 1500. Beautiful yellow, with black hood and interior. This car is said to have spent most of its life in the south of France (although it is an original UK car and Right Hand Drive) and the bodywork, underside and chassis are in very good condition. The recorded mileage is 58000. The hood is good, I’ve only used it once when my wife was cold. The engine (with electronic ignition and new aluminium radiator and electric fan) work perfectly well. Previous owner told me that the engine had been rebuilt with a performance cylinder head, however, there is no paper work for this. It has a 4-2-1 manifold, and twin silencers I have replaced the rear spring with a new Moss one. The car is stored in a dry garage. I have used it almost exclusively for day trips to the seaside, local shows and Goodwood, only in the sunshine, and it has never let me down. I have enjoyed every drive, but there are more cars on my bucket list, and I’m getting old!My wife loves this car, and doesn't want me to sell it, simply because it attracts so much attention. And it's true. She spends so much time talking to people about it, which really annoys me!!
