This is a 1962 Innocenti 950 Spider.
EDITED AUGUST 2024 - Price reduced to £13, 800 which is less than what I paid for the car in February at Mathewsons auction (13, 200 hammer price + £1, 188 buyer premium = £14, 388) - Picture of invoice added.
The car is listed as an Austin Healey sprite mk1 as it shares the same plateform and drivetrain but with a Carrozzeria Ghia Italian body designed by Tom Tjaarda for Innocenti. Plenty of information about these vehicles available online.
A very rare car especially in the UK (4, 790 spider 950 ever produced mainly sold in Italy). Imported from Italy in 2019 and registered in the UK in 2020.
Good condition overall and very original. Future birth forces sale. Car visible in Bentley, Hampshire.
- 948cc Austin engine engine with twin SU carbs as per the Austin Healey sprite.
