Yamaha XS1100F. 1979. Matching engine and frame numbers.
Genuine 17087 miles. Road tax and MOT exempt.
Owned by me since January 2000. I bought this bike as a nice riding low mileage example for restoration. Imported from the US in 1996.
Stripped to a bare frame and rebuilt over the following summer.
I have a large photographic record showing various stages of the rebuild. Using a large number of genuine new old stock parts and
paintwork done by Dream Machine Nottingham. All service items were also checked and replaced where necessary, new tyres and tubes, brake callipers fully rebuilt using new stainless pistons and silicon brake fluid.
The end result is a lovely example of this iconic 70s Yamaha.
It must be one of the best in existence.
