1982 Austin Ambassador 2 litre Vanden Plas manual gearbox
These are now very rare cars , when did you see one last ? According to the DVLA there are only two Vanden Plas Ambassadors fitted with a manual gearbox left.
Engine , gearox , clutch , suspension , brakes and steerig all work just as Austin intended them to in 1982
The bodywork is excellent , rust free and polishes up really well while the underside is really in great condition for a car of this age
The interior is all original with beige seats and carpets and door cards in excellent order . Being the Vanden Plas model the car is fitted with twin cards , automatic choke , power steering and unmarked alloy wheels which are all fitted with excellent tyres
The car starts easily runs extremely well and stops just as it should
The sunshine roof does not leak but is not working at the moment, the brackets have been remover and one of them is broken and needs welding just being honest .
The car looks great , is now very rare and I am NOT open to offers , the price is the price but I would consider some kind of swap , possibly for something a little older maybe something a bit newer if it seems a good deal for me Ready to drive away and show
