Original, unmolested L322s are becoming very hard to find and this beautifully original ‘clear glass’ Epsom Green over Aspen Green leather interior example is a fine example of the breed.
This very early Range Rover has had just one single owner since new, being first supplied by Ruette Braye Land Rover (Jersey) in September 2002. In 2004 It was used lightly as a shooting vehicle on the owners land as well as a means to travel into London in true comfort and ease, exactly as Land Rover designed the vehicle to be.
This vehicle was not the owners main form of transport, and as such it spent most of its life garaged and sparingly used around Oxfordshire. Sadly the vehicle was laid up more permanently in the last few years due to another Range Rover taking over duties. I purchased the vehicle at the start of 2024, where I have lovingly brought it back to life.
Main highlights:
Starts, drives, stops with no fault
4 x New Pirelli P-Zero tyres have been fitted at 108, 851 Miles
Aicon - Tested + Regassed (unbelievably cold!)
The suspension height control systems work well and correctly, including going into motorway mode upon a constant speed
heated steering wheel, heated rear seats
A detachable tow-bar is also present (and never used)
Extremely clean interior
Centre screen works faultlessly
4 x new Pirelli’s mean road noise is nice and low and the car is extremely comfortable on the road. The 4. 4 litre BMW engine runs extremely well indeed, and it pulls through the gears seamlessly. The brakes are firm and correct, and steering precise, with plenty of power and a lovely V8 burble should you need it.

Exterior:
For a 22 year old vehicle, this presents extremely well. I have cleaned the vehicle sympathetically, and not overly polished the paintwork, so it retains some of the imperfections which allow it to still be used as intended. Mudflaps were once attached to the vehicle, and there is evidence of this, but it does not detract from the overall look.
Underneath:
A visual inspection from underneath confirms that it has been stored indoors for the majority of its life. There is no significant rust, deterioration or previous repair, with key weak areas such as the rear wheel arches, sills and sub frames remaining rust free.
Improvements:
As with any vehicle that is 22 years old, there are some improvements that could be made. The N/ S wing mirror has deteriorated and will need to be replaced and the rear parking sensors do not work.
Contact:
A current V5, service history, and 2 x keys come with the car.
The vehicle will be put back onto its age related registration number, though the current registration ‘COT 45’ is available for purchase separately.
This is not a completely perfect example, the vehicle is 22 years old, but it is an extremely well kept, original vehicle that has many more years of use out of it if the maintenance is upkept. Viewing is highly recommended.
