This is a Triumph TR250 which has been converted to full UK TR5 spec. It was originally supplied new, as a LHD TR250, in Texas, and imported back to the UK 11 years ago. It was then converted to RHD, cosmetically restored, and fitted with a correct CP series fuel injected engine and an overdrive gearbox. FMA489F is badged as a TR5 and registered with DVLA as a TR5. It's a solid rust free example (being from Texas) that is in excellent condition and drives very well. The paintwork, interior and chrome are all very good. It has a fairly new mohair hood and even has its original Rostyle wheel trims which are now quite rare. Recently fitted with an upgraded Bosch fuel pump (which resolves the injection problems associated with the original Lucas pump) and rebuilt metering unit. Five new Vredestein tyres. FMA489F has a heritage certificate and is in its original colour of Jasmine yellow. It has a superb engine note and handles beautifully. A excellent condition TR5 at half the usual price.
