The car is absolutely solid there’s no rot on the car and it has passed the last 2 MOT’s with no issues.
Engine runs like a dream never caused me any hassle and serviced every 6k vvc mechs are nice and quiet and no smoke at all. The head gasket and cambelt have been replaced. It’s been mapped with raised rev limiter to 7400. Exhaust is a vvc manifold with decat pipe and piper cat back system sounds lovely.
Gearbox is a standard gti box had a clutch 3 years ago again never caused me any issues, does have a short shift kit fitted to reduce the throw on the gear stick.
The suspension has been individualised correctly with the rods cut front and rear so gives a nice stance and slightly firmer.
Paintwork has some lacquer peel in places, passenger door and drivers wing being the worst where the lacquer has peeled. The drivers side rear arch/ sill we need be painted.
The car is just not being used so may as well sell her on. A rare Metro Gti with all the joy of a track car also.
