For sale is my pride and joy. Audi TT MK1 2003 1. 8T BAM engine track project. The car has been a 7 year project with well over 25K spent over the years on the project to date.
The car was purchased as a completely standard, very clean example of a MK1 in Avus silver with black leather and over the 7 years of ownership has transformed into a full track oriented build.
The full range of work which this car has received in 7 years of ownership is extensive and too long to list.
The main specifications of the car are as follows.
Engine has received extensive work including a fully refurbished Head. Block has forged IE H beam rods with Refreshed BAM pistons, stock 81mm bore still 1. 8. TSR turbo manifold and down pipe. GFB 44 wastegate, new G25-550 Garrett turbo. ARP hardware. Engine is managed by Ignitron standalone ECU provided by Badger5. Engine is currently running around 380BHP (crank) at 1. 6 BAR. Engine has had road tuning and requires some dyno time to dial in the mapping and get a true power figure. Engine has seen roughly 5000 miles since the refresh and all service parts replaced at this time. Water pump, gaskets , Belts ext. uspension is full GAZ gold adjustable coilovers almost new. full polybushed arms, adjustable rear lower arms (rose joint). Power flex bushings.
Brakes, front 330mm floating disk. VMAXX big brake kit. Rear has CB Auto 300mm two piece floating disks kit with stock rear callipers. Full braided lines throughout.
Interior is almost fully stripped with safety devices bolt in half cage with upgraded cross brace. Cobra Monaco sport vinyl fixed buckets. Driftworks 4 point harnesses. OMP steering wheel. Odyssey light weight race battery, mid mounted.
Fuelling and oil control systems are quite in-depth with it being a track focused build.
DW65V in tank pump feeding a swirl pot with a Bosch 044 pump full braided AN lines throughout.
Oil system includes External 19 row oil cooler, with a full in car Acuusump system fitted with manual valve, forge baffled sump. Oil pressure gauge. Full 10AN braided lines throughout. Power steering fluid cooler front mounted.
This is just the main areas of the car the full parts and build list is too long to write down.
Car is currently SORN. The car has MOT until October2024 and can be used on the road. The car currently has no Catalytic Converter as it’s been built for mainly track days with limited road use. A CAT would need to be installed for MOT and road use.
Rest of the car is road legal.
Chassis is currently on 140, 000 miles on the clock but pretty much all components have been replaced throughout the build process. Only the gearbox has seen the full mileage and is the only untouched part of the car.
Car has had oil and filter changes every 4000 miles in my ownership and no expense has been spared throughout the build process. Only OEM replacement service parts have been used in the build.
Viewing of the car is highly recommended as it’s a very detailed build and not for the faint of heart.
Asking price is £13, 000 open to negotiations. The full build cost over 7 years exceeds £25, 000 and the Turbo system parts alone total £4000 and have seen very little mileage. Car is an excellent fast road/ track day Tool or an absolute gold mine as a breaker. ( expensive and almost new parts throughout) Unfortunately I do not have the time or space to break the car for parts.
