Description
Unfinished project very early matching numbers uk model 4lo lc350. If my research is correct it is one of the first 350 sold in the uk, as the last vin number is 231, first registered 13/ 8/ 80-can't be many left now ? Dry stored for around 30 years. Very original and complete, comes with some new spares inc battery, original bars/ airbox/ stand etc, seat lock is iffy- not a major cost though and i do have the keys and log book in my name. Engine turns over with good compression, previous owner rebuilt top end-obviously i'm not going to pull it apart to check at this stage. Calipers striped to rebuild. It was candy blue when new. Pipes/ plastics all saveable, righthand fork has very minor pitting at top and the brakehose mounting is broken-but weldable, tank good just minor surface rust. Surely the best lc to restore & i wish i did'nt have to sell it, so best offer over £3500 buys it, no timewasters or tourists please. previously owned by a mate, who was a great bike fan and mechanic, it was a local bike and has had 9 former owners, i've put 6 speed-but can't recall if they are-anyhow it's a standard gearbox and has'nt been raced on a track
