Description:
I bought this car from a forum member in January 2019. It’s been very well looked after, garaged the entire 5+ years I’ve had it and also by the previous owner. It’s always under a soft cover and plugged into a CTEK charger. It’s a lovely car & I have cherished it but unfortunately I am hardly using it. The engine is warmed up religiously (not by letting it idle) and runs perfectly. The car drives faultlessly and feels very solid on the road. The feeling it gives you when you heel-and-toe down the gears with that naturally aspirated V8 is glorious. The car is completely standard and has never been modified, the stock exhaust is subtle but gives way to the induction noise which is addictive.
Overall it is in very good condition, the paintwork presents really well, it was ceramic coated by the previous owner which is still working nicely. There are some minor stone chips but nothing untoward for its age. The interior is very clean, the rear seats are essentially brand new and do not look like they’ve ever been used.
When I bought the car, the only thing letting it down was the paint finish on the wheels, they had been refinished in the wrong silver. I had them refurbished by the Wheel Specialists in what they claim (and forum members agree) to be an OEM match, which is Hyper Silver. The wheels were then ceramic coated before going back on and they are immaculate. The tires were replaced (PS4S) at the same time and have covered less than 2000 miles, all 4 have 7mm tread.
I’ve got a folder full of all the history as well as the spare key. I know everyone says this but I genuinely did buy the car with the intention to hold onto it for a long time. I know it will be a very special car in the near future and I am gutted to see it go.
