A rare find. Austin Mini Super De Luxe. Mark 1. Built December 1962. Registered June 1963. Exterior Old English White. Interior Red. Mileage 51, 820. Mileage when purchased approx. 51, 200.
Bought August 2015. Taken out for short drives a few times a year since purchase. Starts first time, even when been stored over winter.
Although MOT exempt, had MOT to assist potential buyers as had not had an MOT since COVID partly as I was unable to drive for some time. Also tax exempt but declaration made to 1 August 2025.
When I bought her, I took her to Mini Mail (Gloucestershire) for some advice and was advised that the car was in over 90% original condition, paintwork, carpets, seats etc. and best to keep her that way rather than refurbish, as such original condition is rare. Since then, she has had some work carried out at Gloucester Mini who also confirmed original condition and rarity.
Asking price based on advice from family friends with over 4 decades of rebuilding and maintaining classic minis and who attend the classic shows.
She had been off the road for 9 years before I bought her, so no paperwork prior to purchase but I have all paperwork for works I have carried out which include:- rear subframe, radiator, battery, brake shoes, start button, hand brake cable, condensor, battery fluid, shocker bushes, various bulbs, seals, couplings, clips and gaskets. Recently had fitted new fan belt, water pump, water pump gasket, top hose, bottom hose, thermostat and thermostat housing gasket. Only the bottom hose was in need of replacement, however as the radiator was taken out, it made sense to replace those other parts at the same time.
Sale includes 2 keys, original headlights (boxed not fitted to the car), original handbook, original paint chart and British Motor Industry Heritage Trust Certified Copy of a Factory Record.

Super little car, such fun to drive, still has that proper mini smell and attracts genuine pleasure from passers by, some wave, some smile, I've even had people talk to me about her at traffic lights.
