It is with a very heavy heart I'm listing my E36 328i M Sport Convertible for sale, and absolutely solid car... no rust, all the jacking points are solid and having just had a professional windows out front end respray it looks incredible.
Also just had a full suspension refresh with H&R Cup Sport shocks, springs and new top mounts all round. Its drives absolutely perfectly, no rubbing and a really comfortable ride.
Brand new genuine BMW 17inch staggered Evo alloys which have just been professionally powder coated, McGuard locking nuts and Toyo Proxis on the front and Contisports on the rear, all with loads of tread.
The interior looks fantastic, full tool kit, no bolster tears, full computer and cruise control (all working) and Blaupunkt CD stereo with matching orange LCD's.
Engine is absolutely superb, no oil leaks (trust me thats a rare thing on an E36 lol!) or rattles, starts on the button every time without exception, no smoke and the auto box is great too.
Comes with all three keys and absolutely loads of service history (see photos)
Fully electric blue roof works as it should and has a good clean back window.
Work completed in my ownership:
1> Genuine staggered BMW Type 24 M3 Evo alloys just been powder coated with McGuard locking nuts
2> New NSF wing and full professional windscreen out bonnet and wing respray
3> New H&R Cup Sport shocks, springs and top mounts all round
4> New scuttle cover
5> New genuine front fog lights
6> Engine and rear diff (Redline 75-90) oil change
7> New fire extinguisher installed
8> New batter
9> New front bumper trims and new bonnet and M Sport side trim badges
Completed prior to my ownership:
Looking underneath jacking points look to have been done and are solid, I cant see any rust or rot. The sills are re-enforced at the front jacking points and the rubber pads have been removed to prevent water/ road salt ingress (which is what causes them to rot)
Major service (with £600 invoice, see photos) 2000 miles ago which included spark plugs, fuel filter, engine oil, air filter and new brake pipes front to back. A genuine, well maintained, unmodified example of an amazing car with the very best straight six engine. You are welcome to inspect it however you wish, jack it up, take it for a run etc. Obviously this is a private sale of a 25 year old car so sold as seen but absolutely any inspection welcome, take as long as you want.
The only issue I am aware of is the aircon does not work. All the controls work in the car but the belt has been removed from the aircon pump by the previous owner so I'm guessing it needs a new pump fitting. Looks to be around £100 for a recon genuine pump on Ebay but with it being a convertible it's never bothered me.
Not really looking for offers as it's already listed at £1000's less than I have spent on it (as is tradition with classic cars haha!)
