Ford Fiesta Classic Cabaret for sale. This was a nostalgia buy for me as I had one when I passed my test. It had been my plan to hang onto this car and enjoy it for many years but unfortunately life has gotten in the way, and due to lack of use and some unplanned (and eye watering) vets bills, I've very reluctantly decided to let it go. I'll try and keep the War & Peace to a minimum.
This is a 5 owner, genuine 49k mile Mk3. 5 Fez with just shy of a years mot. It hasn't failed an mot in 14 years and has only failed two since 2006, both for misdemeanours. This is a run out car, being on a P reg, and was one of the last to roll off the line.
Body - Post '94 mk3. 5 Fiesta shell, matching numbers. The car is in amazing condition for what it is. Beyond some age related marks and a little faded paint is a solid car that, as far as I can tell, is rot free and has never been welded. (Nor does it need any). The panels appear original and the car has been waxoyled from new. Still wearing original wheel trims, dealer plates and window stickers.
Mechanics - Valencia/ HCS 1. 3 petrol engine. Five-speed manual. Speed demon it is not, but it's surprisingly quiet, starts on the button, pulls through the gears as it should with no issues and is a smooth, pleasant little car to drive. Recently had a new thermostat, rocker gasket, new old stock sunroof and seals.
Interior - Original, down to the factory fitted stereo, and in excellent condition throughout with no rips, tears or fag burns, and a parcel shelf that hasn't been butchered. Proper poverty spec - keep fit windows, no power steering and no abs.
Paperwork - comprehensive. Original manuals, original bill of sale, fifteen stamps in the service book, every mot cert, spare key, model year sales brochure and a literal folders worth of dealership service receipts. And I'll throw in a Haynes manual.
This is a great little car, and could be one of the best with a little effort. Cheap insurance, cheap tax, runs on practically thin air. A great retro daily or starter classic that deserves to be enjoyed. Give a good wee Fez a home.
