Here we have one of the last classic 900s (registered August 1992) Being the XS model it comes with the naturally aspirated 2. 0 16v petrol and 5 speed manual gearbox, currently on 177658 miles. It also has as standard ABS air con, electric sunroof and 4 electric windows
This is a restoration project. It does start and drive but needs a full recommission at the very least to pass MOT. Lets start with the good – interior is all original except for the headlining which was fully replaced. The seats do have some rips to them but otherwise its quite presentable. Mechanically its not too bad, the engine will need a full service and there is a bit of a misfire but it starts first time on the button. Brakes and suspension are ok but again will need full service. Brand new Bilstein rear shocks and springs included in the sale. The alloys were refurbed not too long ago. Good history with loads of receipts and old MOTs and 2 keys
The bad is rust. Worst is to the doors - all but the N/ S rear are bad. There is also rust to the roof near the rear hatch and on the C pillars both sides. There is rust on both rear arches too. Lacquer peel to most of the bonnet and front wings. Underneath its actually ok - the sills/ floorpan appear to be good. Lots of bits of trim are off the car but it is all included in the boot.

Would like to keep it but too many other projects and lack of space means this has to go. Far too good for scrap. A great project for a Saab enthusiast!
