Description
Due to lack of use, selling Elan +2 , model is of the first production series (Carello rear lamps) and comes with complete extensive history from the UK and also from Czech Republic, where its been imported many years ago. The car is in overall good condition, original interior, paintwork is older, but nice, mechanically the car has had a new chassis fitted in late 90's, it has complete new brakes, new Gaz shocks, carburretors have also been fitted new not long ago + new fuel lines. I have had the engine stripped and rebuild, including new clutch and flywheel. I used parts mainly from QED motorsports. I have stored all the invoices and history goes back to 1980's. This Elan +2 is specific that is one of the very early examples and with all the maintenance done it driver really great. Will be sad to see it go, but i don't have much time to use this Lotus as much as i would have wished. But i drive her regularly and refuel etc... it has not been standing still in the garage for any longer period of time, i try drive the car quite regularly few times in a year.
