Description
This is a 1931 Cadillac 355-A Sedan with Fisher Corporation bodywork. The 1931 355A series was very similar to the 353 series except it was longer and lower making it a much more beautiful car. New features for the 1931 model included a chrome radiator screen with stone guard, a single bar bumper, dual horns and a frame with new side rails.
The Fisher bodywork is in excellent condition and the paint scheme is modern today. The interior is in good condition but shows some age.
The car was used at weddings and also in films in the past and would make a good investment for a collector with earning potential. It is an excellent and well maintained example was part of a large private classic car collection in Almeria.
The car is registered as a historic vehicle in Spain which is awarded to historic vehicles with special interest culturally. This brings the added benefits of reduced insurance, road tax exemption, a extended interval between ITV tests and permitted entrance to low emission zones.
The car was used regularly up until 2020. Since the owners passing it has been in secure dry storage.
The car is complete but will require recommissioning due to the length of time in storage. The price reflects the quality of the vehicle but recognizes the need to return it to service for road use.
