Mk6 escort rs2000 4x4 project
Collected this the other week, was unsure what to do with it was planning on restoring but time just isn’t on side.
Been sat for about 7 years, had it running which runs and drives. Runs and seems all good just think it could do with the tank emptying and fresh fuel putting in it.
It’s previously had rear wheel arches welded in but needs finishing, top of drivers door has a rust hole as pictured.
Rear bumper is in the car. There’s also a dent on the passenger rear sill.
Interior wise front seats are in really good condition, needs complete interior from the pillars backwards and full carpet.
Underneath there’s scabs and surface rust without having it up in the air and start picking never going to know how bad she is, there’s a hole in the passenger rear floor nothing major but like I say without start prodding about won’t know whether it’s just surface or more.
It’s had a big brake conversion on the front once apon a time, I’ve driven it round my yard and it stops as it should but it would definitely need a full overhaul.
Ideal project for someone that likes there fords, these seem to be a very rare car and not many of them left on the road.
