Good sturdy car that runs well. It has four gears and overdrive which makes it a quieter, smoother drive. Previous owner did a lot of work and there are receipts and pictures for that. Since purchasing the car we have had the clutch and brakes done, new hoses etc. Some flaky paint in places but otherwise bodywork in good order. Needs new interior door cards and stereo re-fitting but the carpets and upholstery are in good condition. It was bought as a 50th Birthday present and has been a lot of fun but I don't have the time to drive it nor skills to maintain it so it needs to find a new home. This car is really fun to drive, it's light and holds the road well, because it has the overdrive it makes it much quieter and smoother when you take it on the motorway. The beauty of the MG BGT is that you can use it as an everyday car, it doesn't just have to be your weekend wheels. Wherever you take it, people want to look at it and talk about, you'll be surprised how much affection and nostalgia everyone has for these lovely coupes.
