Ford Anglia 123e SUPER. rare colour & MINT !!!
I’m testing the water as I don’t really want to sell, I wanted an Anglia for about 10 years & searched forever to find one mint & exactly how I wanted it. I’ve done a few bits to this to make it 100% perfect ( I’m a perfectionist ). The car has just clocked over 80, 000 genuine miles. Full mot history to back this up. 1 key fits all locks, never had locks changed, still original set.
It’s never been welded & nor does it need it, it’s still got its original front wings etc. chrome is very good & still shiny. This Anglia being a genuine Venetian gold super means it’s 1 of 500 built back in 1967 & very few remain !! Started life as a 1200 super & now runs a very rapid 1700 X-flow ( fully rebuilt & low mileage, have picture proof ) & rocket / dogleg 2000e 4 speed gearbox, fully rebuilt. H & H electronic ignition, Kent BCF2 cam, remote electric fan, full piper tubular manifold & stainless exhaust system, triple core radiator, webcon electric fuel pump with security cut out switch ( hidden ), WOSP starter motor. It has a lot of Milton upgrades - welded rear turrets with GAZ adjustable shocks & rear Milton A-frame, uprated steering components, Milton quick shift & gearbox crossmember etc. Milton adjustable Gaz coilovers & TCA’s on front legs which have the disc conversion with M16 calipers, Milton full polybush kit. 105 Speed prop & 3:89 diff. Inside is as it should be. It has genuine SMITHS gauges which all work perfect, Oil pressure, vacuum, volt meter, Rev counter & an analogue time clock. I searched very high & low to get a brand new ‘super’ script for the dash as I wanted this car exactly how it should be. I managed to source ( after months of searching ) original seat belts , exactly the correct ones & colour that were put in the gold cars, at a cost you really wouldn’t believe, but as I’ve said - it’s got to be right as I’m such a perfectionist lol.
Astrali retro period steering wheel with correct center & ‘Ford’ badge. Seats & door cards are all perfect, Coverdale carpet & soundproofing are new. ALL rubbers & seals are new. Fully reconditioned heater box & heater interior pipes, lovely & hot now, fan works perfect too, this car wants for nothing & has been cherished all its life. Jump in, turn the key & go anywhere, drives absolutely spot on with no squeaks or rattles etc !! This is NOT a bodged up car that you’ll need to spend thousands on, it’s very genuine & has untouched bodywork, no extra holes or messed around with. I was going to put Twin Weber 40 DCOE’s carburettors on, but I can’t bring myself to drill the holes on the bulkhead to fit the brake & clutch reservoir due to how original the car is !!
All in all the car is proper stunning, but unfortunately I’ve got Escort blood & have owned them since I lost my baby teeth & now want another. Not bothered if MK1 or 2, just had sooo many not to worry what comes along. Obviously quite happy if you want to trade for 1 etc. but in the same breath I’m not bothered if the Anglia stays with me as I know I’ll never find another like it without having to part with a kidney !!
The car has extremely good history with original bill of sale & logbooks from day 1, still has the spare 2nd key. Still has the original vin stamped in on inner wing etc etc.
Comes with quite a few spares. Lots & lots of history !
Have all mots, old tax discs, original 1st buff logbook, sales records & order form, 2nd key, owners manual etc etc
1st genuine person to turn up / view will definitely buy !!
Can deliver anywhere as I have my own car transporter.
