Description

2002 Facelift in new formula red with black leather interior and 35, 000 miles.

Stunning condition inside and out.

I’m the second owner and have owned the car since 2010.

It had a full refresh for preventative maintenance purposes when I first bought it and got a timing belt, water pump, tensioner, crank pulley and a plethora of replacement hoses, parts and seals from Honda all fitted by a local specialist.

I have the original invoices from Honda for all these parts.

It got another timing belt in 2022 even though it only does a few hundred miles a year.
I still have the belt that came off and it is like new.

I have the valve clearances checked at each major service too.

I change the oil every 12 months regardless of mileage (usually under 1000) using Fuchs Titan Pro S 5w40 Ester based oil and a genuine Honda oil filter.

The car has recently had a full geometry setup and 4 Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tyres.

The car is regularly detailed and has recently had a full paintwork correction professionally carried out.

I only tax the car for the summer months and is rarely even driven in the rain.
When it’s not being used it stays in a heated, dehumidified garage.

No expense whatsoever has been spared.

The car has passed its MOT every year that I’ve owned it without as much as a minor fault and the current MOT runs until July 2025.

Extras include new genuine Honda darker JDM taillights, NSX-R spec steering rack (original electric rack included), NSX-R style Momo steering wheel + horn button and NSX-R style aluminium gear knob.

Unfortunately the car was recorded as cat d by the previous owner following a minor front end collision, which required a new wing, headlight and front bumper refinish.

Most NSXs that have any sort of minor collision are recorded as cat d unfortunately due to the lead times on the handmade aluminium panels from Japan.

It was repaired to a very high standard however and I have no doubt that without the classification it would be a £120000 car.

Please bear in mind that cat d is superficial damage, not structural.

I have been told by a dealer who specialises in these cars that they would value the car between £70, 000 and £80, 000 so I believe it is very reasonably priced.
