Genuine / original ex police car from Manhattan Beach Police Department in California.
I imported the car back in February 2023,
so I am the first owner since the police had it.
All the lights have been professionally and neatly converted over to make it road legal and pass a UK mot, the indicators are concealed in the rear tail light clusters and so is rear fog light so there is no ugly looking fog light hanging down under the rear bumper, the side indicators are built in to the mirrors so there is no drill holes in the wing and no added indicators on the wings. The car is in good condition for its age, it is not mint but bear in mind that it is a used police car, it has handcuff marks / scratches on the rear quarter panels and the car is also 18 years old, but it is original!
The car runs and drives great with no issues whatsoever! it drives straight, starts first time and the engine idles beautifully, it has a smooth transmission and goes through all gears smoothly, the overdrive button also works as it should. It has been very reliable and has never ever let me down.
I have just fitted new brake pads and disks all round, and the rear parking brake shoes, I have also put new drop link bars on. I have recently changed oil and oil filter, new spark plugs, new air filter and new fuel filter. I have also changed the coolant and flushed and cleaned the coolant system at the same time. So, the car drives and feels even better now than it did before. The headlights were slightly discoloured so It now has 2 new headlights.
Being a California car the undercarriage and chassis is in excellent condition. The decals stickers are all in excellent condition are not faded or peeling off.
It currently has almost 111, 000 miles on the clock & 4400 idle hours but both will increase slightly as I do sometimes use the car regularly.

The AC / Air conditioning is very cold!
The ignition has a secure idle installed, so a button can be pressed and the keys can be removed from the ignition with the engine still running and the car cannot be taken / driven away as the steering wheel locks in place and so does the gearshift lever.
In the boot / trunk there is equipment organizer with a secure lock box, It also has original stop sticks still mounted inside on the trunk lid. All the electrics are neatly mounted on a tray / rack which pulls out for easy excess.
Comes with a private registration plate which is MB06 COP which suits the car absolutely perfectly !
MOT until April 2025 which is not far away so I will be taking it for another MOT soon.
