Honda CB750 four K4 1973/ 4 price is negotiable!
November Customs build, I purchased this bike 'in running order' from an importer in 2017 I picked it up from his business in Derby, it wasn't exactly as the ad stated but, in this game things are always a little hazy.
Due to home renovations I had to shelve any plans I had for restoration for what turned out to be several years, during this time I collected a lot of parts and carried out a lot of research on the bike, I was pleased to learn it was 100% original. As time raced by I drew up some ideas on paper, I couldn't make my mind up wether to put it back original or restomod the bike, eventually I went with restomod. I contacted a bike builder locally, November Customs! and in the end agreed a price and handed it over because I knew she was never going to get finished, I supplied my rough designs on paper and forgot about the bike as the house took priority.
The bike was not as good as I originally thought, the tank was faded and dinged, the loom, rotten, every seal and bearing pretty much dry so.... the entire bike was stripped down to the ground, a nut and bolt rebuild, the engine was cera-coated, everything else was powder coated, the paint was a problem as metal flake is no longer made with the big flakes so I tracked down a company in London who still made the paint as original as possible (smaller flakes) then the paintwork was hand painted and striped. The loom was replaced for a digital system (see images) the rear shocks YSS slightly lowered, the inlets were hand turned from solid brass! And the carbs rejetted (American kit) The forks supplied from a Suzuki tl1000 the brakes are all classic Gold Wing Brembo, and the front end has a twin disc conversion whereas the rear remains drum. A new analogue speedo as the original clocks had been damaged sadly every part of the bike has been updated or refreshed it will make a fantastic show bike I have videos of the bike running, all import documents plus dvla engineer inspection papers, with receipts for the build.
After searching for a decade and finally acquiring one of these bikes and investing time, money into the whole project I need to move on.
The float bowls will need a flush so at present she's sat immobile.
But she does run, go, stop, start and is a great unique machine.
