We are currently seeking a client for this entirely handcrafted recreation of the legendary Mercedes-Benz 300 SLR “722”, driven to victory by Stirling Moss in the 1955 Mille Miglia — one of the most iconic racing cars in history.
Our workshop —the same team behind a faithful recreation of the 1957 Maserati 450S— is building this masterpiece from the ground up, with exceptional attention to historical accuracy and engineering craftsmanship.
Key features:
• Custom-built tubular chassis, designed for dynamic performance
• Lightweight aluminium or composite bodywork, true to the original “722” roadster
• 3. 0L inline-6 engine, based on the Mercedes “Adenauer” block, fully rebuilt and tuned (mechanical fuel injection optional)
• 5-speed manual transmission
• Period-correct interior, with classic gauges and minimalist racing details
• Open-top Spider configuration, inspired by the 1955 Mille Miglia car
• Delivered with FIA HTP (Historic Technical Passport) — eligible for historic racing events
