Velocette Thruxton 1966, This Velocette is one of 7 Thruxtons manufactured by L Stevens, 7 Thruxton kits were given by Veloce to: Stevens, Dodkin and Seymour for racing and to promote the Velocette brand. Stevens was a main Velocette dealer and racer in London (see Velocette book by Rod Burris). It is Full Thruxton Spec and it is on the Thruxton Register. Silver Tank, Blue Frame, GP Carb, Competition Manual Magneto, Twin Leading Shoe Front Brake, Alton Electric Start (latest Alton Up Grade), Dunlop Rims, Avon Road Runner tyres (almost new), 12 volt electrics, Low miles. This beautiful bike is on the Thruxton register, was built in 1966 by Stevens of London (Velocette main dealer), so a quality built classic machine, a super little bike. The original ‘Clip On handle bars will go with the bike, I removed these as it was un-comfy to ride with them so I fitted fully adjustable bars up down in and out.
