1971 Classic VW Beetle.
Brand new SSP AD1600 Twin Port engine fitted Sept 2023. Garaged and being used at weekends in the dry only.
New brakes and wiring; new distributor and leads; ignition coil; clutch and gear mounts; handbrake cables all fitted at this point.
Newly refurbished alloys all round with new tyres.
New JVC head unit to accompany shelf mounted Infinity 6x9s and a sub-woofer.
Body work not show condition with some rust parts and stone chips on the bonnet and front wings, but to be expected for a car that was restored 25yrs ago.
Additional items include the rear bumper (not pictured), which comes with its mounts and bolts.
Recently serviced by Bughaus in Nottingham with a new battery and condenser. We’ve had our ‘Humbug’ for 5yrs now and the family have enjoyed weekends exploring in it. Having restored the mechanical aspects of the car and putting a bigger and stronger engine in, we feel it’s time for someone else to take it on for its next curation period.
