Description
Originally a Viper, converted to Venom specification when restored in the 1980's, and subsequently fitted with the correct fairing, body panels and fittings, with the tall windscreen option, bringing it to correct Venom Veeline (touring) specification. It is currently fitted with original Velocette pannier frames, with recent replica pannier bags. It has the 4 1/ 4 gal tank, black with transfers (not badges), and the mudguards and stays are also black. Silver painted handlebars. Wheel rims are Dunlop chrome, in A1 condition. This bike has been in one family ownership since 1975. It has it's original registration number, frame and engine numbers as per the original buff log book, which is present, as is the V5. It has been the recipient of concours awards at the annual Velocette Owners Club national rally on two occasions. Overall condition is excellent, though some paintwork shows a little ageing and the exhaust pipe has some corrosion (hidden by the fairing). No known faults, starts and runs well. Monobloc carb, manual BTH TT magneto. Electrics are 12volt, Miller dynamo and JG regulator. Price reduced!Very rare in this trim.
