Description
I bought this back in 2021 with the intention of getting it on the road fairly quickly. I've too many projects and now is the time to give someone else a chance.
Registered in November 1982 it's a Series 3 SWB Land Rover. The heritage certificate says it was built in March 1982 and shipped as a basic vehicle. It's now got a safari roof on it from an earlier car. This has been fitted well. It's also got some nice features - a Fairey free wheeling hubs and a Fairey Overdrive. It has a 2 and 1/ 4 diesel engine that has been removed from the car along with front panel, wings and bonnet. At some stage it's had a 1/ 2 replacement chassis fitted. Original bulkhead with a patch on one side and needing patching on the other - still salvagable. It's showing just over 43, 000 miles I've no evidence that this is genuine but a hunch it probably is.
Hopefully a good project for someone. Open to reasonable offers.
