Description
The XLV is the forerunner to the legendary Africa Twin, the XLV 750 is air cooled & Honda had issues with overheating of the rear cylinder in hot climates (not ideal for the Dakar) so they increased oil capacity but ultimately switched to water colled & developed the AT.
The XLV is shaft drive, they dropped this on the AT to save weight. Not sold in the UK XLVs were however sold in Europe & Oz.
My bike was restored in Italy by the past owner & then was imported to the UK.
I acquired it >4 years ago with a view to go off road which for a novice off roader she is too heavy & low (I am 6ft 4") so I settled for a Honda CRF 300L Rally.
The XLV has been in stowage for some time & I would like it to go to someone who will ride her.
The XLV is in excellent condition for age & can be sold with a new MOTThis is a unique chance to buy some 1980s Honda history in excellent condition at very good price
