It’s a genuine, solid machine, it has never let me down, I’ve used it a lot over nearly 5 years (circa 15, 000 miles) and it’s a pleasure to drive.
We had a full mechanical overhaul of the vehicle by specialists, including outriggers, carried out soon after purchase in 2021, totalling just shy of £6, 000. This list shows the main items (we have bills to show the full works):
- Outriggers – custom made (as opposed to the less preferred pre fab type) and professionally carried out. We have photos of the works;
- Rear main seal, sump re-seal and new clutch;
- Mounts and bushes – engine, gearbox, exhausts, upper rear differential;
- Headlight reflectors, near and frontside ( these are hard to come by now!);
- Brakes hoses;
- Fuel hoses (Gates Barricade R14s);
- Roof/ window seals;
The bodywork and hood on the whole are in good condition.
Comes with ‘the bible’ and some useful bits and bobs for the car from my garage.
The car is priced to sell. The reason for sale is to replace it with something I can take my kids out in.
