Description
Genuine UK market bike, registered June 1974, with much documented history. One of about 530 electric start, round-case V-twins made, an older restoration, not concours, but a clean, presentable and reliable bike. The current mileage, c20600, has all been done in my long-term ownership since September 2000.
Recent top-end overhaul including new piston rings, valve springs, valve stem oil seals and camshaft bearings. The bike has Akront alloy rims and stainless spokes, AP Lockheed twin disc front brake and Keihan stainless exhaust headers and balance pipe. The silencers are genuine Contis and still in good condition. The front forks have recently been rebuilt with re-chromed stanchions and new seals. Fitted with Lucas RITA electronic ignition, uprated alternator and has been partially rewired.
