1973 Triumph TR6 in white with extensive history file, MOTs and Heritage certificate.
Original uk spec with some sensible upgrades such as enertia seat belts, bosch fuel pump, additional thermostatically controlled coolant fan with high flow radiator, upgraded front wheel humbs digital realistic radio, cup holders and cabin power outlet.
She come fitted with a fully operational, later J Type over drive which operates on 3rd and 4th gears only, effectively making the car a six speed. She will cruise at 70mph + all day long without issue.
In addition to these upgrades which may be regarded as extras the following repairs/ rebuilds have been carried out:
Total engine rebuild including head ported and gas flowed with hardened valve seats, racetorations mild cam upgrade, lightend fly wheel and full flow exhaust.
Electronic ignition, upgraded alternator and water pump.
All round suspension renewal and more recently a full set of new retro tyres to original spec of 185 15r.
Motolite steering wheel.
New boot carpets, upgraded speakers both in the foot well and behind seats.
The car comes with an unmarked vinyl soft top which lifts and lowers smoothly and with out issue. The rear screen is clear and devoid of marks.
This is tucked away during use by a mohair cover. In addition, included in the sale is an original targa top.
The suspension has been polybushed all round. I bought this car 11yrs ago and promptly drove it around Europe. The car is an original UK CR model which in later life was exported to Ireland. I bought it after it had been re imported which is why the Reg number is different in some documents and photos. I applied for, and was granted the original VRM which it displays today. All paper work is included. This car has been a passion of mine since I bought it and has wanted for nothing, it is reliable good looking and a real pleasure to own, but there is nothing else it needs except to be driven and unfortunaly I need something a little more involving so it is ready for a new owner to enjoy whilst I take on my next project.
All parts that have been removed and are still in working order are included in the sale: steering wheel, exhaust, cam, flywheel, fuel pump, so the car can be returned to absolute original if desired.
