Sadly having to sell my 1965 Morris Minor 1000 to make way for another classic car.
A lot of time has gone into keeping this car a very usable classic and has been great fun to own. Always kept in the garage and driven regularly.
All of the work carried out in my ownership over the last 4 years.
Reconditioned 1098cc engine fitted Nov-21 from Willenhall Engine Centre. 1700 miles covered since.
Reconditioned Carb Nov-21 from David Manners Ltd
3 services with new engine - work logged on a spreadsheet.
Plugs, HT leads, rad flushed, gearbox oil topped up, thermostat.
Full front suspension rebuild with poly bushes & greased.
Clutch replaced.
New tyres all round Jun-22.
Electronic ignition (no more points!) & Rev counter.
Recent welding for both jacking points, RH sills & RH front bump stop with new panels.
New carpet and underlay fitted.
All invoices and receipts for parts.
Before my ownership:
Front brake disc brake conversion.
New Radiator.
New Exhaust.
Car is solid underneath, with most areas undersealed and evidence of previous welding. A tidy example overall and a very usable car.
