An exceptional, low mileage , high spec example.
First registered 18-03-2005, two owners and 95347 miles from new. First owner 15 years. second owner 5 years. The current MOT is advisory free and expires 11-02-2026.
Great performance car and excellent fuel economy.
A recent 250 mile trip it returned 43 mpg.
Fitted with fully adjustable 'COMFORT MEMORY SEATS' an expensive option. These are adjustable with inflatable lumber and side-bolster supports. Electronic steering column adjustment.
Panoramic sunroof. Electric folding mirrors. Front and rear parking sensors. Bixenon headlamps. Cruise control, air conditioning
(working nicely). Rain sensing wipers and auto lights. All in addition to the usual BMW refinements.
The car comes with Newly refurbished 18" alloys. fitted with Michelin Pilot Sport 5 245/ 40/ ZR18 front in excellent condition and brand new Falken FK510 275/ 35/ ZR18 rear.
The interior is light sand full leather and shadowline wood trim giving the car a light and airy feel.
In addition to regular service work the following recent work has been carried out by the previous owner.
Both thermostats replaced, new glow plugs, new glow module, new updated vortex valve. Inlet manifold cleaned. ( appears to have been replaced by the previous owner with an upgrade. (aluminium swirl flap mechanism) EGR valve removed, cleaned and replaced.
The car has never been remapped or modified for performance, no EGR delete or swirl flaps removed. Performance is more than adequate.
The windscreen was replaced three years ago and is clear and free from damage. Recent front brakes. New genuine BMW third brake light, new BMW drivers door rubber and a new Varta battery September 24.
Complete with two keys, the original BMW leather dealer wallet, service book and a number of other operator books, old MOT's plus a print out of the DVLA MOT history and a number of invoices for parts and servicing. Full tool kit and jack, first aid kit, unused space saver spare wheel and tyre.
I bought the car to use while restoring my 2005 VW Caravelle (owned for 20 years) which I finished last year. This is genuinely a reluctant sale. An exceptional example and rare in SE spec.
