The German owner of an Audi R8 in Suzuka Grey LY7F was looking for a daily driver with the idea of personalizing it to his own taste. It had to be a station wagon, preferably a BMW in excellent condition, equipped with a 6-cylinder petrol engine, automatic transmission, and fully equipped. He finally found a 2008 525 Touring in exceptionally good condition; it was the perfect car, and the work could begin.
"Two Cars, One Identity"
His BMW 525 Touring is more than a practical choice—it's a conscious extension of his personal style. Finished in Suzuka Grey, the exact same color as his Audi R8, this is no coincidence, but a statement.
Wrapping wasn't an option for him; only solid, professional paintwork with attention to detail, such as the grooves and various interior parts. Other parts were finished in jet black (see the photos). It was worth the price, but he was extremely happy with the end result and drove the Touring for years.
A few years ago, the BMW finally ended up in Dutch hands and was given a Dutch license plate. It is still in exceptionally good condition, both visually and mechanically. It has 208, 245 km on the clock, a car folder with booklets is included, and it has a recent MOT. Due to circumstances we can explain, we came into possession of this exceptional BMW.
