Here for sale is my immaculate and in original time warp condition mk2 ford fiesta with a full years mot till 26th March 2026. Registered 29th august 1986 This is an early D plate model 1. 0 popular plus.
Showing 99 thousand miles on the clock, the condition looks like is should be on 9 thousand but is a testament to the 1 previous owner who had it prior to myself and kept it in amazing condition!! I managed to purchase this car from a museum where it sat for a number of years and was vigorously maintained as you can see by the photos and a full folder of receipts and original Ford service books and stamps. This car has to be seen to be appreciated!
The factory 1. 0, engine has been fully rebuilt before my ownership and ticks over very smoothly on modern day unleaded fuels,
This is a factory 4 speed model also so it doesent quite keep up with modern day traffic at 70/ 80mph speeds however it’s very nostalgic and how it would have been in the late 80s early 90s driving this car around the towns. A good upgrade would be to fit a 5 speed if very fussy but it’s never been an issue for me as I rarely go far with it.
Original date stamped front wings and window glass with the original wheel trims and steel wheels, it’s also got the original spare wheel in the boot as well as the tool kit and jack. No sign of any welding anywhere and as you can tell from the photos the inner wings and boot floor is very very good! It’s has very slight touch ups on the bonnet due to stone chips but this is to be expected on a car of its age! The interior is just as clean as the outside with no rips or tares in the fabric, it’s had the carpet re trimmed with added sound eddening to help quieting down road noise which really does make a difference.
It also has an aftermarket central locking system and immobiliser fitted to help with security which is really important, I’ve fitted a cd player but do have the original tape player to go with the car as well.
I could literally go on and on about this lovely little car but I feel the photos will emphasise how clean and original the car is!
