For sale is this very pretty early letterbox model 224 based on a 1972 Ami chassis, which is all in good order. Brooklands aero screens fitted and a lovely wood-rimed Mota-Lita steering wheel.
Car has been regularly serviced and MOT'd since Aug 2020 and in that time has been re-wired and fitted with push-button start and electronic ignition. MOT until 21/ 09/ 25.
All the gauges are working as they should. You will see from one of the photos that it has been fitted with a replacement period speedo as the original one was playing up and not registering the speed correctly, although it still recorded mileage. It also has a replacement speedo cable. The mileage on the old speedo at the time of replacement was 90034 and the new one 69367. Current mileage at time of photos is 69439. What's not to love about this 224 complete with throaty exhaust. Great fun to drive and a guaranteed head-turner.
