This very nice MGB was fully restored in the UK in 2013 and equipped with a 3. 5 ltr Rover V8 and Rover 5-speed gearbox.
The conversion included:
- original MG B GT V8 (3, 07 : 1) rear axle
- Holley 390 carburettor
- high torque starter motor
- vented disc brakes and steel flex lines
- coil over dampers
- 5 (!) chrome wire wheels
- SABELT 4-point belts
- MotoLita wooden steering wheel
The actual owner bought imported this MG B V8 to Germany after completion of the conversion. All changes are documented in the official German papers. The MG is registered as a Historic Vehicle (H-reg).
Over the years the following items were exchanged or restored:
- rear wheel brake cylinders
- front screen replaced
- cooling fans replaced
- crank shaft seal replaced
- soft top replaced
- seats upholstered
- sun visors replaced
- doorcards replaced
- two tone horn fitted
- footmats with MG logo fitted
TÜV (= German MOT) new until June 2027, no advisories.
The MG B is located in the Aachen region in West Germany, close to the Dutch and Belgian border and can be visited and test driven there according to prior agreement.
