Hi, we are Paul Higgs cars based in New Milton in Hampshire. We specialise in Classic Minis and we also have a passion for British Classic Cars. Our aim is to offer our clients the opportunity to get out on the open road with a smile and enjoy the ever popular classic car scene and what better way to do it than in a British Classic car.
We are very pleased to offer on of the finest and useable British Sports cars ever made. The ever popular MGB Roadster. Our beautiful 1980 example is finished in the period Inca Yellow with the contrasting black trim. Its a full matching numbers example and presented in very original condition. I have been using this Roadster and I can confirm it is great fun to drive, it has a service history folder that shows lots of recent maintenance and regular servicing.
Our Roadster has not been modified in any way and still has its factory looks with its correct Rostyle wheels. On the road this MG is a real joy to drive. It has very healthy 1800cc engine mated to a smooth gearbox with a fully functioning overdrive. It benefits from an electronic ignition upgrade and has also been converted to run on unleaded. It holds a healthy 60psi of oil pressure. It holds the road very well and feels ready to go anywhere. The experience is transformed when the roof is dropped down and you are introduced to open top Roadster motoring, a smile is guaranteed.
Our MG has been very looked after and the interior is proof of this It has excellent seats with matching carpets, all of the switch gear is fully functional and again very original. It does benefit from a sports steering wheel and a CD with AUX and USB. These are real drivers cars and they were designed to cover distances in comfort which it does very well. The hood is also in very good condition.
The paintwork is very well presented and virtually blemish free. The body is also very solid throughout with excellent shut lines and seams. The boot floor is original and the engine is nicely detailed. The floor pans are also body coloured. It offers its lucky new owner a Classic that is ready to be driven anywhere and entry into the world of MG ownership with excellent parts availability and a huge club following.
The MG is serviced and is MOT and Tax exempt.
