A street legal Vintage british race bike with clear title. Great condition. Kick start. 4 speed transmission. Low gearing for trials competition. Loads of torque. Light, easy to handle and fun to ride. Early unit engine with distributor style ignition. Energy transfer charging system has been changed to a more traditional alternator and rectifier for reliabilty. The headlight bulb is a special LED made to the correct fit for this reflector. Fresh points and condenser.
The original Amal Carb has been updated a brand new Amal Concentric.
Also last fall the head was rebuilt, new valves and guides, and a modern intake valve seal was added. The piston and cylinder were well within spec at that time- it had been bored . 020 over stock.
Comes with its sales brochure, and a vintage service manual. If you want them, I can include the original amal carb and the energy transfer unit. I bought it was a restoration project while I was caring for my mother a few years ago. It runs well now, is very light and lots of fun to ride. I have some health issues that prevent me from doing off road and trials now so I need to let her go to someone who can enjoy it.
