Opel Record 1900cc 1969 coupe in gleaming red / orange paintwork.
This 2 Door coupe is extremely rare last time I checked couldn't find another one. The car is in very good condition and starts drives well. The actual body work is really very nice and shines very well. Front rear chrome bumpers are in excellent condition and fit car very nicely. The chrome trims surrounding the windows and doors also look goy. The original Hub caps still present very well and suit the car. The Tyres have plenty of tread left on them. The car has two chrome look mirrors mounted on front wings.
The black look front Grille sits very pretty between the twin head light all most giving an American look to her.
The interior and carpets are newly fitted and the roof lining is very clean and white . . The Dash is in good condition. All lights . wipers . washers are working. The engine starts well and drives good along with the smooth change of the gearbox. ideal for those weekends driving.
The Boot is plenty big enough and in very good condition with a new Boot carpet. Spare wheel also housed here. Petrol cap is hidden away behind the number plate. nice touch I thought.
Engine is a 1900cc and runs on unleaded fuel so a helpful bonus. All in all a very smart classic car that gains attention every time you're out in her.
I've not owned much more than a few months it's slightly too Big for my Garage although dose go in but it's hard for me to squeeze out having recently had a back operation.
Summing this rare beauty up it's a very smart good looking rare classic that deserves time and a bit of love. Would benefit from a service and a general tinka around which would only enhance this attractive fast back. im in a town next to Stansted airport so please do come for a cuppa and view her. This Opel coupe is extremely rare and pretty and can only enhance your initial investment. The two door looks and that Hint of American look makes it stand out amongst the everyday classics.
