Description
1956 Triumph Tiger 110. Fully restored about 8 years ago and rarely used since. It has the airflow front brake and the Quick detachable rear wheel. Very powerful , stylish bike for 1956, very useable on todays roads. The 500 original engine was replaced early in life with a 650, this is recorded in the original logbook. The engine is only a month in age different to the frame. Comes with original logbook, old tax discs and old MOT certificates. Also has new handbook, workshop manual and advertising material of the day. Similar to the one used in Marlon Brando's "The Wild One", and Steve Mc Queens "Great Escape". Johnny Allen achieved 214 MPH on a modified one of these in 1956 at Bonneville. Now fitted with bar end mirror, and indicators for safety. Also has LED front running light.
