Early 68 Corvette L79 327, 350 HP high output option. Manual close ratio 4 speed. Matching numbers unrestored car. Factory hard top and white soft top. Lovely paint, the pictures don't lie. 10k recently spent. Car also comes with boxed new door cards, carpets and door handles. Sale does not include registration pictured. The registration number shown will be replaced with an age related registration number. This is a great looking car that drives perfectly. Some early cars suffered overheating problems from new. This car got a little warm but never overheated. However, for peace of mind and the confidence to drive the car in any traffic on the hottest days I upgraded to a big block style aluminium radiator fitted with twin electric fans specific to a small block engine. A new heater matrix was installed as well as filling the system with Evans waterless coolant. Other works — The breaking system was overhauled. Engine mounts were replaced. Gear linkage replaced. Gearbox oil replaced. Wheel bearing & cv joint replaced. Speedo cable replaced. Serviced and tuned, new plugs etc. New rubber weather seals fitted to the hardtop. All original parts have been boxed, even the anti smog set up.
