Description
Full spec/ work carried out below:
New distributer cap fitted and belts changed when I first purchased it 4 years ago along with the usual service bits - plugs, filter etc.
Full US Racing type 3 aero kit imported and fitted
Fibreglass boot lid with scoop and ducktail spoiler
Full re-spray in original carnival yellow
Staggered 14"/ 13" Enkei J-Speed wheels (refurbished under my ownership) with nearly new tyres
New at time Largus coilovers (can go lower than it currently is if that's your preference)
Jazz big brake conversion on the front with new discs and pads all round (barely any miles done since fitting)
Cozy Lights refurbished cluster with black dials.
Fujitsubo exhaust (nothing too loud but sounds nice)
Pokeball shift knob
MR2 wind deflector
3d printed surround to incorporate marine stereo.
Wheels refurbished in white with red calipers
Loads of paperwork, receipts etc
Includes 2 keys
V5 present and in my name
Not so good bits (only very minor, non-mechanical things):
Wiper blade arms could do with a cosmetic refurb/ clean up
Slight ding in paint on the skirts where I stupidly shut the driver door on the seat belt
Interior isn't perfect, seats are a little tatty but by no means terrible for a 30 year old car
Air-con not working (possibly just needs re-gassing).
Interior air vents are slightly loose (possibly the plastic clips have perished)
Fuel cap needs to be manually opened.
MOT until March 2026 - No advisories.
Mileage is listed as 113570 although I'm pretty sure this is KM as this is how the speedo reads as this is of course a Japanese import. Milage may also rise as I'm still giving it a weekend run around every now and again.
Loads of pictures and videos of the restoration available.
No group viewings
Any test drives will be by seller only driving and the buyer as a passengerA remarkably well looked after and lovingly restored Honda Beat.
Grab yourself a super fun, cheap to run and insure convertible for the summer. I've taken this to Japfest at Silverstone most years since owning it and it never fails to draw attention and put a smile on everyone's face.
Qualifies for Classic Car insurance. I pay only around £100 a year with all the mods declared.
I've owned this amazing little car for 4 years. In that time, I've had all of the (admittedly minimal) rust taken care of, a full US racing bodykit fitted and a full re-spray in original carnival yellow amongst many other things.
This is by far the coolest car I have ever owned. I've loved it and invested a heck of a lot of time and money making this the best it could possibly be.
I have spent well over 10k restoring this little Beat in the past 4 years making it the best it can be. That being said, serious offers for a quick sale will be considered.
